What is Falafel?
Falafel is a Middle Eastern dish that is also a popular street food. It’s made of seasoned and ground chickpeas blended with seasonings, rolled into balls or patties, and fried to crispy perfection. The fried spiced balls are then stuffed into a pita and layered with sauces and a combination of tomato, lettuce, cucumber, onion, parsley, and yogurt. Many variations on this tasty dish exist, but the fusion of various textures and delicious flavors remains consistent.
